Renault Duster Détour unveiled
Revealed at the 2013 Johannesburg International Motor Show, the Renault Duster Détour concept is inspired by the Dakar Rally, Mad Max and The Terminator.
Those influences have been translated into a suitably rugged look, which features 18” alloy wheels shod with all-terrain tyres, widened wheel arches, raised suspension and a front nudge bar.
A two-tone Pearl Yellow and Matt Grey paintjob, huge ‘Duster’ graphics, dark-tinted glass, extra lights and a rear roof spoiler complete the Détour’s distinctive appearance.
For now it remains a one-off, but a production version would be easy to envisage.
The regular Renault Duster was launched in South Africa last month.
