Datsun redi-Go Concept unveiled

To coincide with the start of Go hatchback production at the Renault-Nissan Alliance factory near Chennai, India, Datsun has revealed its redi-Go Concept.

The redi-Go is a small five-door crossover that features a raised driving position and good ground clearance. Shown at the Delhi Auto Expo, the concept previews a possible third model that would join the Go and seven-seat Go+ in the marque’s Indian line-up.

Just like the Kwid concept from sister brand Renault, the redi-Go’s target audience is young, aspiring drivers for whom style and practicality are important. On the face of it though, Datsun’s effort seems to have a better chance of becoming a showroom vehicle.
