Audi Exclusive RS 7 Dynamic Edition

Audi has launched the Exclusive RS 7 Dynamic Edition in the United States. Unveiled at the New York International Auto Show, it’s intended to be a showcase of what’s available via the brand’s Exclusive programme.

One of those things is apparently a hefty price tag, because the Exclusive RS 7 Dynamic Edition is going to cost an astonishing $146,045 (including destination and delivery charges). By comparison, the regular RS 7 is available from $104,900.

But that premium doesn’t bring any extra performance. Power still comes from a 4.0 litre, twin-turbo, V8 engine which is rated at 552 bhp (412 kW / 560 PS), enough for a 0-60 mph (96 km/h) time of 3.7 seconds and a 174 mph (280 km/h) top speed.

What the additional cash does buy is the DRC three-stage adjustable damper system, larger 21” wheels and a sports exhaust. Also fitted are a carbon fibre front splitter, rear diffuser and engine cover. The brake calipers have been painted red, while on the inside red is also used for the seatbelts and upholstery stitching.
