MX-5 25th Anniversary Limited Edition

A quarter of a century after its iconic roadster was first revealed, Mazda is launching the celebratory MX-5 Roadster Coupe 25th Anniversary Limited Edition.

Based on the current 2.0 litre Sport Tech Nav model, it has Soul Red metallic paintwork with a contrasting black finish for the roof, roll-over bar covers, windscreen surround and door mirror caps. A set of 17” dark gunmetal alloy wheels and special badges complete the exterior look.

The interior features heated seats upholstered in Light Stone leather with red stitching and an embossed ‘25th Anniversary’ logo on the head restraints. An Alpine touchscreen navigation system with Bluetooth connectivity, alloy pedals, unique doorsill tread plates and a hand-painted dark red dashboard panel are also part of the enhanced specification.

Global production of the MX-5 Roadster Coupe 25th Anniversary Limited Edition is being limited to 1,000 examples. Perhaps surprisingly, 750 of them are allocated to the UK and sales begin here in August. Mazda has yet to announce a price.
