C Evolution electric scooter upgraded for 2017

BMW has announced some worthwhile changes for its C Evolution pure-electric scooter.

Key among them is the arrival of an improved lithium-ion battery pack, which sees capacity rise from 60 Ah to 94 Ah. Furthermore, two versions of the C Evolution are now being offered.

The C Evolution European, unsurprisingly, will only be available in Europe. Riders with A1 category driving licences are the main target audience.

Alternatively, the C Evolution Long Range boasts extra power and performance and, as that name suggests, more range. BMW plans to sell this model in China, Japan, Russia, South Korea and the United States, as well as most major European markets.
