2018 BMW M5 specifications confirmed
During the build-up to the launch of the sixth-generation M5, BMW has already revealed some key facts about the new car. Among them is the switch from rear-wheel drive to all-wheel drive which, as can be seen from the stats below, has significantly benefited acceleration.
Now other technical details have been announced, including outputs from the heavily-revised 4.4 litre V8 engine.
F90-model M5 deliveries are due to begin in February 2018. Prices in the UK start from £89,640, while the cost in Germany is €117,900.
Also available will be an M5 First Edition, recognisable by its BMW Individual Frozen Dark Red metallic paintwork. Total production is being limited to just 400 examples though, so anyone interested in buying this special version might want to place an order soon.
