Nissan has updated the 370Z for 2018

'Old' and 'good value' are two labels that spring to mind when describing Nissan's 370Z. Although it first arrived at dealers in 2009, an on-the-road starting price of £29,185 for a V6-powered coupĂ© with rear-wheel drive is quite a bargain.

A few cosmetic changes will help the 370Z soldier on into 2018. The headlights and rear light clusters have gained a dark tint, the 19” alloy wheels are redesigned and a black finish has been applied to the door handles and the panel between the exhausts.

Unaltered is the 3.7 litre engine which produces 323 bhp (241 kW / 328 PS) with 363 Nm (267 lb/ft) of peak torque. Similarly, the transmission choice still comprises six-speed manual and seven-speed automatic gearboxes, but the former now comes with an Exedy clutch that should result in a better shift action.

Sales of the 2018 Nissan 370Z have already begun.
