2019 Honda NSX announced

Unless the owner has opted for the newly-available Thermal Orange Pearlescent paintwork, then identifying a 2019 NSX might be tricky. Indeed, the main visual difference compared to its predecessor concerns the front grille’s upper bar, which is now body-coloured rather than chrome.

However, changes beneath the skin are more significant.

To improve driving dynamics and responsiveness, thicker anti-roll bars, stiffer rear bushings and recalibrated magnetorheological dampers have been fitted. In addition, a switch to specially-developed Continental SportContact 6 tyres means that grip should be better in both wet and dry conditions.

Powertrain alterations are limited to modified fuel injectors, the installation of a particulate filter and a software update for the hybrid system. Honda hasn’t mentioned any output or torque increases, so the figures are probably still 573 bhp (427 kW / 581 PS) and 645 Nm (476 lb/ft) respectively.

UK deliveries of the 2019 NSX are due to commence early next year.
