2019 Škoda Karoq Scout revealed
October’s Paris Motor Show will see the public début of a new Karoq variant that’s equipped to tackle rough terrain.
As well as all-wheel drive as standard, the Karoq Scout features a raised ride height, skid plates and wheel arch protectors. A set of 19” alloy wheels completes the exterior look, while unique upholstery adorns the interior.
Three different powertrains are going to be offered.
For buyers who prefer petrol, there’s a 148 bhp (110 kW / 150 PS) 1.5 litre TSI engine which is mated to a seven-speed DSG dual-clutch transmission. Alternatively, a 2.0 litre TDI diesel unit comes with either 148 bhp (110 kW / 150 PS) and a six-speed manual gearbox, or 187 bhp (140 kW / 190 PS) and a seven-speed DSG.
Prices have yet to be announced.
