2019 European Car of the Year winner named
For the first time, Jaguar has been awarded the European Car of the Year title. It was the narrowest of victories, though.
The I-Pace and the Alpine A110 actually earned the same voting score. As there couldn’t be a tie, the result was decided by counting up how many jurors gave each contender the maximum permitted allocation of ten points. That number was sixteen for the Alpine, but eighteen for the Jaguar.
