Smart creates the forease+ concept
At this year’s Geneva International Motor Show, Smart will be exhibiting a unique adaptation of its pure-electric EQ fortwo cabrio. The concept car, which is called forease+, clearly doesn’t rank weather protection as a high priority.
Although the removable speedster-style fabric roof might prevent occupants from getting soaked, the lack of any side or rear windows wouldn’t be great in a rain shower. Other special features include a cut-down windscreen, specially-designed aerodynamic wheels and a ‘duck-tail’ rear spoiler.
Inside, the seats are upholstered in black Nappa leather and microfibre fabric. A weird two-thirds steering wheel is also fitted, plus the dashboard is covered in contrasting amber leather.
A production version of the forease+ seems unlikely at this stage.
