Ford B-Max first view
Ford has released the first images of the production-ready B-Max mini-MPV.
Due to make its public debut at March’s Geneva Motor Show, the new arrival should provide some tough competition for the likes of the Vauxhall / Opel Meriva, Citroën C3 Picasso and Škoda Roomster.
For added practicality the rear doors slide and Ford claims that the B-Max will offer class-leading load space with flexible seating. However, its unique feature is the absence of any B-pillars, although the actual benefit of such a gimmick is maybe difficult to pinpoint.
European sales of the B-Max will begin later this year, and it’ll be available with Ford’s innovative 1.0 litre EcoBoost petrol engine. Prices have yet to be confirmed.
