2013 Ford F-150 launched

Ford has unveiled its 2013 model year F-150 pick-up truck.

Externally, the changes aren’t too dramatic, and they include a restyled grille, new wheel designs and three extra paintwork choices: Blue Jeans Metallic, Kodiak Brown Metallic and Ruby Red Clearcoat Metallic. High-intensity discharge headlights will also be available for the first time, a unique feature for this market segment.

Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum and Limited models additionally come with MyFord Touch, which combines a centrally-mounted 8” colour touch-screen with a media hub and extra voice control commands.

Ford is offering a choice of four engines, all of which are paired with a six-speed automatic transmission:

· 302 bhp (225 kW / 306 PS) 3.7 litre V6
· 360 bhp (268 kW / 365 PS) 5.0 litre DOHC V8
· 365 bhp (272 kW / 370 PS) 3.5 litre V6 EcoBoost
· 411 bhp (306 kW / 416 PS) 6.2 litre SOHC V8
