Dodge Charger Daytona

Dodge has launched the 2013 Dodge Charger Daytona, which is set to make its debut at the upcoming Los Angeles International Auto Show.

Essentially an upgrade package for the V8-powered Charger R/T and Charger R/T Road and Track models, production is going to be limited to 2,500 units. The Daytona will be offered in the United States only.

Visually, it’s distinguished by a roof wrap, vinyl bonnet graphic and 20” two-tone wheels, as well as ‘Daytona’ graphics on the rear quarter panels and a satin black finish for the grille. Among the standard features on the inside are heated seats with Daytona Blue stitching and piping, Mopar pedals, a 10-speaker Beats Audio sound system, dark brushed aluminium trim and a numbered dashboard badge.

The specification also includes sports suspension and steering, a 3.06 rear axle ratio, paddle shifters and a special Daytona Blue engine cover.

Available with Pitch Black, Daytona Blue, Billet Silver or Bright White paintwork, the 2013 Dodge Charger Daytona has an MSRP of $32,990 for R/T-based model, while the R/T Road and Track version costs $36,495.
