Peugeot 208 Intuitive edition

With 99,486 registrations recorded in 2012, Peugeot managed to maintain a 4.9% share of the UK market. Not a bad performance then, but the firm seems determined to get 2013 off to a strong start, because it has just unveiled the 208 Intuitive special edition.

Based on the existing Allure trim grade and available in three- or five-door guises, the Intuitive basically offers a lot more equipment for a little extra cash.

The additional standard specification includes satellite navigation, dual-zone air conditioning, directional front fog lights, different 16” alloy wheels and a ‘Cielo’ panoramic glass roof. Perhaps the highlight though is Park Assist, which checks a space is okay and then automatically controls the steering to help those who usually find parallel parking too much of a struggle.

The 208 Intuitive goes on sale in the UK later this month, priced at £750 more than the respective Allure versions:
