2014 Buick LaCrosse revealed

After almost four years on sale, Buick has given its flagship LaCrosse a facelift, an updated interior and some extra equipment.

The subtle tweaks to the exterior include a restyled front bumper, LED daytime running lights, a bolder grille design and wraparound rear LED light clusters.

On the inside, the focus has been on improving the ambiance. New seats are complemented by upgraded materials, while a refreshed centre console now incorporates an 8” colour screen.

Available specification for the 2014 LaCrosse includes adaptive cruise control together with a range of camera- and radar-based safety systems such as rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning and side blind zone alert.

The engine line up comprises a 182 bhp (136 kW / 184 PS) 2.4 litre four-cylinder unit with eAssist hybrid technology and a 304 bhp (227 kW / 308 PS) 3.6 litre V6. Both come connected to a six-speed automatic transmission, and buyers will have a choice of either front- or all-wheel drive.

The 2014 Buick LaCrosse is due to arrive at dealers this summer.
