2014 Star Motorcycles Bolt
Star Motorcycles, Yamaha’s American cruiser brand, has unveiled its new 2014 Bolt.
Sporting a distinctive, stripped-back look that’s devoid of chrome, the bike features a traditional teardrop fuel tank, 12-spoke cast wheels and a double-cradle frame. There are some modern touches though, including the LED rear light and an LCD speedometer.
Available from next month with a choice of Raven or Pearl White paint finishes, the Bolt has an MSRP in the United States of $7,990.
Alternatively, the Bolt R-Spec adds remote-reservoir twin rear dampers, black mirrors and a unique seat design to the standard equipment list. It comes in either Camo Green (with contrasting black fenders) or Matte Gray and costs $8,290.
Powering both versions is a 58 cubic inch (942 cc) V-twin engine. Fuel-injected and air-cooled, its output is sent to the rear wheel via a belt drive system.
