Toyota is top car brand again

Toyota has reclaimed its position as top car brand from BMW, but only just. That’s according to the latest BrandZ™ Top 100 Most Valuable Global Brands survey compiled by MillwardBrown, which is now in its eighth year.

Toyota is named most valuable car brand of 2013.

There was very little change in the rest of the car top ten, though. Indeed, the constituents and the order in which they appear are identical to 2012’s results, with most managing to record an increase in their brand valuations.

The overall Top 100 listing continues to be dominated by the technology sector, with Apple, Google and IBM occupying the first three positions.
