2014 BMW K 1600 GTL Exclusive

BMW has unveiled the K 1600 GTL Exclusive, a new flagship for its touring bike range.

Compared to the regular GTL model, the Exclusive features plusher seating, armrests and a heated backrest for the pillion passenger, a keyless ride system, revised instruments and a radio antenna that’s embedded in the topcase lid.

Also fitted as standard are hill start control and an LED daytime running light, as well as the usually optional electronic suspension adjustment, LED auxiliary lights, anti-theft alarm and central locking. The finishing touch is a unique four-coat Mineral White metallic paint finish that’s complemented by an aluminium fuel tank moulding and chromed exhausts.

Technically things are unchanged, which means power is still provided by a 1,649 cc, six-cylinder engine that produces 158 bhp (118 kW / 160 PS) with 175 Nm (129 lb/ft) of peak torque.

Pricing for the K 1600 GTL Exclusive has yet to be confirmed.
