2015 GMC Sierra HD All Terrain announced
As its name implies, the new All Terrain version of GMC’s 2015 Sierra HD is aimed at those who need a pick-up with some extra go-anywhere ability.
To help fulfil that requirement, four-wheel drive comes as standard. Also fitted is the Z71 Off Road package which consists of hill descent control, a skid plate and Rancho twin-tube dampers.
Visually the All Terrain model is distinguished by a chrome finish for the grille surround, door mirror caps, front bumper insert and 18” six-spoke alloy wheels. Other special features include unique doorsill kick plates, a rear-view camera and faux carbon fibre cabin accents.
The Sierra HD All Terrain certainly offers plenty of choice. Available in 2500HD and 3500HD guises, buyers can opt for either a double cab or a crew cab. Furthermore there’s a choice of SLE or SLT trim grades, plus the engine line-up comprises a 6.0 litre Vortec petrol V8 and a 6.6 litre Duramax turbo diesel.
Sales in North America are due to begin this summer.
