Fiat Punto Jet Black 2 launched
Supermini buyers might be forgiven for overlooking the Fiat Punto, simply because there are plenty of newer and arguably more capable alternatives available. But the Punto is still a stylish contender, so the just-revealed Jet Black 2 limited edition could stimulate a few extra sales.
Offered in three-door form only, it lives up to its name with metallic black paintwork and dark-tinted rear privacy glass. Also fitted are 12-spoke 17” alloy wheels, side skirts, a tailgate spoiler and some blue side stripes.
The standard equipment list seems generous enough. It includes Bluetooth connectivity, cruise control, rear parking sensors and automatic climate control. Sports suspension, adaptive cornering front fog lights and five airbags complete the specification.
There’s just one engine option though, a 1.4 litre petrol unit which develops 76 bhp (57 kW / 77 PS).
The Punto Jet Black 2 carries an on-the-road price tag of £12,000. That makes it £440 more expensive than the equivalent Easy model.
