Land Rover Discovery updated for 2015

Although the striking Vision Concept is a blatant sign that Land Rover has an all-new Discovery on the way, the current model will still be around for a little longer. So, to help keep buyers interested, it’s receiving a few minor tweaks.

The 2015 Discovery sees the old entry-level GS and XS trim grades replaced by the SE and SE Tech variants. Both now feature automatic headlights and wipers, cruise control, front fog lights and door puddle lamps as standard, while the SE Tech gains xenon headlights.

As before, the HSE and HSE Luxury versions complete the line-up. Prices start from £41,595:

Discovery SE £41,595
Discovery Commercial XS £42,295
Discovery SE Tech £47,495
Discovery HSE £54,495
Discovery HSE Luxury £59,965

A new addition to the options list is InControl Apps, which enables compatible smartphone apps to be displayed and controlled via the dashboard touchscreen. As well as allowing access to services such as Stitcher internet radio and the Hotelseeker and Cityseeker travel assistants, it can also manage how music is streamed from the phone’s media library.
