Yamaha MT-09 Street Tracker first view

A few simple changes have transformed Yamaha’s MT-09 into the scrambler-styled Street Tracker.

They include the fitment of aluminium number plates on the front and sides, a billet handlebar tensioner and a shortened carbon fibre front mudguard that’s secured with aluminium stays. Grey paintwork, a black frame and bronze wheels - all of which have a matte finish - further distinguish the bike from a regular MT-09.

The riding experience should be a bit different too thanks to the Street Tracker’s wider foot pegs, tank kneepads and flat two-tone saddle that incidentally raises the seat height from the usual 815.0 mm (32.1”) to 849.5 mm (33.4”).

To complete the package, Yamaha is also offering an optional aftermarket Akrapovic exhaust for the otherwise standard 113 bhp (85 kW / 115 PS) 847 cc three-cylinder engine.
