The Fiat Fiorino gets a facelift for 2016
Fiat has announced some minor updates for its Fiorino van, the most obvious being a restyled front bumper. A jutting underbite is retained, but now a broad air intake provides a stronger visual link to the larger Ducato.
Inside, there's a redesigned steering wheel, refreshed instrument graphics and an extra dashboard storage compartment. Available equipment includes Bluetooth, a DAB radio and a touchscreen-based infotainment system that can incorporate satellite navigation.
The revised Euro 6-compliant engine selection comprises one petrol and two diesel units. An EcoJet package promises 74.3 mpg (3.8 l/100km) and 100 g/km of CO2 emissions on the combined cycle, courtesy of a Comfort-Matic robotised manual transmission, stop-start, a variable displacement oil pump and a smart alternator.
Officially, Fiat dealers will begin accepting orders for the 2016 Fiorino later this month.
