2017 NACTOY winners

2017's North American Car of the Year, Truck of the Year and Utility Vehicle of the Year have been announced at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

Across all three categories, the jury – consisting of motoring journalists from Canada and the United States – voted sensibly to produce emphatic and well-deserved victors.

2017 North American Car of the Year
Winner: Chevrolet Bolt - 364 points
Second: Genesis G90 - 105 points
Third: Volvo S90 - 101 points

2017 North American Truck of the Year
Winner: Honda Ridgeline - 364 points
Second: Ford F-Series Super Duty - 193 points
Third: Nissan Titan - 72 points

2017 North American Utility Vehicle of the Year
Winner: Chrysler Pacifica - 300 points
Second: Mazda CX-9 - 135 points
Third: Jaguar F-Pace - 125 points

Chrysler Pacifica: 2017 North American Utility of the Year.

The Utility Vehicle of the Year prize was introduced this year following a decision to split the previous Truck / Utility of the Year award. It encompasses both sport utility vehicles and minivans.
