Škoda Fabia Combi Scoutline unveiled

A rugged-looking Fabia Combi has been launched by Škoda. Although the new Scoutline package doesn’t include all-wheel drive or a special differential, it should provide some extra protection for the bodywork.

The front bumper gains a prominent silver spoiler, while at the rear there’s a matching diffuser. They’re linked by some matt black trim that runs around the wheel arches and along the side sills.

16” ‘Rock’ alloys come as standard, but 17” ‘Braga’ rims can be ordered instead as a cost option. A silver finish for the door mirror caps and roof rails adds some further visual interest.

Škoda has still to announce whether or not the Fabia Scoutline will be offered in the UK.

The Alfa Romeo MiTo supermini is now available with the innovative two-cylinder TwinAir petrol engine. Honda WSB team launch

Honda has unveiled its works team for the 2011 World Superbike championship . The announcement of Castrol as title sponsor means the return to a very familiar colour scheme for the pair of CBR1000RR Fireblade bikes, which will be ridden by Jonathan Rea and Ruben Xaus. As in recent years, Honda has entrusted Dutch concern Ten Kate Racing with running the factory WSB team. First thing on the Castrol Honda agenda is a two day testing session at the Motorland Aragón circuit in Spain later this week. The 2011 WSB season comprises thirteen rounds with Phillip Island, Australia hosting the opening race on 27 February.
