Smart fortwo edition21

Given the steady stream of special editions, it hardly seems worth bothering with a regular Smart fortwo city car. The latest, called the edition21, is based on the 70 bhp (52 kW / 71 PS) mhd pulse coupé or cabrio.

It comes with a choice of black or white finishes for the tridion safety cell and body panels. Completing the package are discrete edition21 logos, a leather-trimmed sports steering wheel, black fabric and faux leather upholstery, a cup holder (wow!) and LED daytime running lights.

Available now in limited quantities, the Smart fortwo edition21 costs just £100 more than the standard fortwo pulse. That means a £9,575 price tag for the coupé, while the cabrio is £11,075.

But perhaps the bigger incentive is a year’s free insurance for any edition21 buyers aged over 21. To further help sweeten the deal, Smart is also offering a special zero percent PCP finance scheme.
