2014 Formula One calendar

Next year’s Formula One season could consist of 22 races, provided all of the venues receive the required approvals in time.

The busy schedule, agreed at today’s FIA World Motor Sport Council meeting, might be good news for fans but it presents some logistical challenges for the teams.

Although the Indian Grand Prix has been dropped, four new additions are planned. Of these, the rounds in Austria and Russia are most likely to go ahead, while the New Jersey and Mexico events are perhaps more doubtful.
