Beijing Formula E circuit layout revealed

The temporary track runs anti-clockwise around the Bird’s Nest stadium that was the centrepiece of the 2008 Olympics.

Measuring 2.14 miles (3.44 kilometres) long it has six sharp corners, four chicanes and two main straights. A particularly innovative feature is the U-shaped pit lane with a spectator area on the inside.

The Beijing Formula E Grand Prix circuit remains subject to final FIA homologation.
