Citroën DS3 by Benefit special editions

Following December’s DS3 by Benefit concept, Citroën has announced a couple of similarly-themed production special editions.

The tie-in with Benefit Cosmetics means both come with numerous special badges, a selection of beauty products and even a make-up bag that fits inside the DS3’s glove box. On that basis, the target audience is likely to be mainly female…

Priced from £14,795, the DS3 DSign by Benefit is the cheaper of the two options. Inspired by one of Benefit’s red lip and cheek stains, its Ruby Red metallic paintwork is complemented by a white finish on the 17” alloy wheels, roof, door mirror caps and dashboard.

Alcantara upholstery, unique floor mats, rear privacy glass and aluminium pedals are also part of the specification. The sole engine being offered with the DSign by Benefit is a 1.2 litre, three-cylinder petrol unit that produces 80 bhp (60 kW / 82 PS).

Alternatively, more performance is promised by the DS3 DStyle by Benefit, because it’s powered by a 118 bhp (88 kW / 120 PS) 1.6 litre, four-cylinder petrol engine. There’s more equipment too as the DStyle Plus trim grade is this car’s starting point.

Metallic grey bodywork juxtaposed with an exclusive shade called Benefit Orange for the roof, door mirror caps and wheel centres creates a striking colour scheme. Intended to evoke Benefit’s most popular mascara, black alloy wheels and a gloss black dashboard complete the look.

The DStyle by Benefit gets the same extra kit as the DSign version, plus it additionally features the City Signature pack that includes rear parking sensors, automatic headlights and windscreen wipers, climate control, interior mood lighting and electrically heated and folding door mirrors. Prices for the DStyle by Benefit start at £16,795.

These latest DS3 special editions are available to buy now. However, if they don’t appeal, a third Benefit-branded model is due this summer.
