2015 Vivaro specs and prices confirmed

Vauxhall dealers have already begun taking orders for the all-new 2015 Vivaro, which is available with a choice of four body styles.

The panel van version comes in single or double cab guises and it has a starting price of £17,995.00 excluding VAT. Significantly, that’s £450 less than the old Vivaro.

For those who need to transport people rather than goods, the nine-seat combi costs from £25,699.00. Completing the line-up is a platform cab model that begins at £20,658.33.

Standard specification across the range is fairly generous as it includes electric windows, Bluetooth, a DAB digital radio, remote-control central locking and a driver’s airbag.

However, if that’s not sufficient then the better-equipped Sportive trim grade adds some desirable (if not essential) items. Among them are body-colour bumpers and side mouldings, air conditioning, cruise control, park assist, LED daytime running lights and an upgraded interior.

Power comes from a selection of four engines, all of which are 1.6 litre diesel units. With a single turbocharger outputs are either 88 bhp (66 kW / 90 PS) or 113 bhp (85 kW / 115 PS), while the twin-turbo alternative produces 118 bhp (88 kW / 120 PS) or 138 bhp (103 kW / 140 PS).

Deliveries of the Luton-built 2015 Vivaro are due to begin in September.
