2015 Aston Martin V12 Vantage S Roadster
Following the launch of the V12 Vantage S coupé last year, Aston Martin has unveiled a Roadster version.
Like its hardtop sibling, the new arrival features adaptive damping, a Sport driving mode, carbon ceramic brake discs and a 6.0 litre engine that’s connected to a seven-speed automated manual transmission.
Unsurprisingly performance is impressive. With 565 bhp (421 kW / 573 PS) and 620 Nm (457 lb/ft) of torque available, the V12 Vantage S Roadster will accelerate from rest to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.1 seconds before going on to a top speed of 201 mph (323 km/h). Those figures make it Aston Martin’s quickest ever production convertible.
Market launches are due to begin later this year, but prices have yet to be announced.
