The Explorer becomes wheelchair-accessible

Specialist converter BraunAbility has added an SUV to its range. The MXV, which is based on the Ford Explorer, offers full wheelchair access.

Modifications include a patented rear-door sliding mechanism that's combined with a built-in ramp. Inside, removable seats mean wheelchair users can either drive themselves or be a passenger.
