2017 Renault Mégane Grand Coupé first view
It remains to be seen what impact the current political unrest in Turkey will have on the country's motor industry. If there's disruption, the new Mégane Grand Coupé – which is being built at the Oyak-Renault plant in Bursa – is one model that could be affected.
Nominally, this four-door saloon is a replacement for the Fluence. However, elegant proportions, smart design details and a panoramic glass roof mean the Mégane Grand Coupé is considerably more stylish than its frumpy predecessor.
Given the obvious effort expended on making the car look good, Renault's decision to limit availability is rather surprising. Currently, twenty-four markets are set to offer it, including right-hand drive Ireland and Australia. Major European territories such as France, Germany, Spain and the UK aren't on the list, though.
