Bentley’s yacht-inspired Galene Edition
Bentley and Plymouth-based Princess Yachts have collaborated to create a special Continental GT V8 Convertible. The Galene Edition by Mulliner, which is named after the Greek goddess of calm seas, has a distinctly nautical theme.
Glacier White paintwork evokes a boat's hull, while a Sequin Blue finish for the accent strips creates the impression of a waterline. Further adding to the elegant look are 21” 'Propeller' polished wheels and a dark blue fabric roof.
The interior features two-tone leather upholstery in shades that Bentley calls Linen and Portland. It's complemented by Pinstripe Walnut, a bespoke wood for this car which appears on the centre console, door-sill tread plates and boot floor.
As a finishing touch, a hand-painted yacht illustration by Spanish artist Jaume Vilardell can be applied to the Glacier White dashboard panel.
Production of the Galene Edition by Mulliner is being limited to just thirty examples.
