Toyota updates the Yaris WRC for 2018
Ahead of its second season competing in the FIA World Rally Championship, the Yaris WRC has been slightly modified by Toyota Gazoo Racing.
Compared to the 2017 car, the changes are fairly minor. They centre on a redesigned front bumper assembly that’s intended to provide more aerodynamic downforce. The cooling system has received some attention too, primarily to help keep engine temperatures in check during hot-weather events.
This year’s three driver / co-driver crews will be Jari-Matti Latvala / Miika Anttilla, Esapekka Lappi / Janne Ferm and Ott Tänak / Martin Järveoja.
