Bentley is returning to Pikes Peak in 2019
At last year’s Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, a Bentley Bentayga set a new production SUV record. For 2019, the brand’s goal is to achieve the fastest ever time for any production car.
It’ll be using a W12-powered Continental GT for the attempt, driven by Pikes Peak expert Rhys Millen. His target is to complete the course in less than 10 minutes 26.9 seconds.
Apart from a unique livery, some safety equipment and an on-board oxygen system (to prevent altitude sickness), the specification is totally standard. A ‘100’ race number acknowledges that 2019 marks Bentley’s centenary.
The Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is going to take place on the 30th of June.
