Draft 2020 Formula 1 calendar announced

Squeezing a record twenty-two events into a season that’ll run from March to the end of November inevitably creates a very busy Formula 1 schedule. Indeed, the provisional 2020 timetable features seven pairs of races which are going to take place on consecutive weekends.

There are three major changes compared to 2019: Germany has been dropped, Vietnam joins the championship and, after a thirty-five year absence, the Dutch Grand Prix returns.

In addition, Azerbaijan is being pushed back from April to early June, plus the United States and Mexico swap places (again). Otherwise, everything else looks familiar, including the customary summer break between Hungary and Belgium.
