Ghost Zenith run-out edition launched

With production of the first-generation Ghost due to end soon, Rolls-Royce has created a special version named Zenith to commemorate its departure.

Customers will have a choice of Iguazu Blue with Andalusian White, Bohemian Red with Black Diamond, or Premiere Silver with Arctic White two-tone paintwork. However, the most interesting bespoke features can be found inside.

For instance, the door caps – available in wood, piano veneer or ‘technical fibre’ – incorporate complex marquetry, while some embroidery on the rear seats reflects the 1907 Silver Ghost’s upholstery pattern. In addition, the standard wheelbase model boasts a ‘starlight’ headliner. This actually gives the illusion of shooting stars thanks to over 1,340 separately-controlled fibre-optic illuminations.

The centre console treatment pays tribute to 200EX, the concept car from 2009 that preceded the first production Ghost. Unique engraved panels depict enlarged portions of the 200EX’s blueprints, plus there’s an inset ingot which is made from the 200EX’s melted-down Spirit of Ecstasy radiator mascot.

Rolls-Royce intends to build just fifty examples of the Ghost Zenith. Exclusivity is therefore assured.
