Fiat has updated the Panda range for 2021

A new trim grade structure, some minor design changes and a simplified powertrain selection sum up the refreshed 2021 Fiat Panda.

The six available variants are divided into three families. ‘Life’ includes the entry-level model, City Life and Wild 4x4; ‘Sport’ has a single member called, unsurprisingly, Sport (although it doesn’t appear to get any performance or handling upgrades); ‘Cross’ comprises the City Cross and Cross 4x4.

Engine choice is now very straightforward. Every front-wheel drive Panda gets the recently-introduced 69 bhp (51 kW / 70 PS) mild hybrid system that incorporates a 1.0 litre three-cylinder petrol unit, a belt-integrated starter generator, and a small lithium battery.

Conversely, both 4x4 versions feature the familiar 83 bhp (63 kW / 85 PS) 0.9 litre TwinAir two-cylinder petrol motor.
