SUV-inspired Fiat Tipo Cross revealed
As part of a general refresh for its C-segment contender, Fiat has introduced the Tipo Cross.
Like the rest of the line-up, this new variant features LED headlights that flank a restyled grille (which incorporates the latest Fiat badge design). Inside, every 2021 Tipo benefits from a slightly smaller steering wheel and, in place of conventional instruments, a configurable 7” TFT display.
Unique elements on the Cross include a front skid plate, wheel arch protectors and side sill extensions. Furthermore, larger tyres and a revised suspension set-up raise the ride height by 4 cm (1.6”). The Station Wagon version also gets roof bars for added practicality.
If the Cross doesn’t appeal, then customers will be able to opt for base, Life, City Life or City Cross trim grades instead.
An updated engine selection now comprises three units:

- 93 bhp (70 kW / 95 PS) 1.3 litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged ‘MultiJet II’ diesel
- 128 bhp (95 kW / 130 PS) 1.6 litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged ‘MultiJet II’ diesel
