2021 Nissan Navara first view

Nissan has released some images of the revised 2021 Navara pick-up (which is known as the Frontier in Mexico and South America).

The styling changes are mainly at the front, where a new ‘interlocking frame’ grille and a redesigned bumper help to provide extra presence. An additional trim grade has been announced, too. Named PRO-4X, it features a black finish on most of the vehicle’s exterior components.

However, the updates aren’t just cosmetic. For instance, the rear bumper gains an integrated step, the cargo bed can take more volume than before and, thanks partly to a strengthened rear axle, payload is greater.

The driving experience should be better as well. Noise insulation and steering response have both been improved, plus numerous Nissan Intelligent Mobility assistance technologies are now available. Included in that last category are Forward Collision Warning, Emergency Braking, and four-camera Around View Monitor with a dedicated off-road mode.
