A new GR Sport trim grade for the C-HR should make the distinctive-looking crossover more involving to drive.

Chassis enhancements include stiffer springs, recalibrated dampers and a sharpened steering set-up. To provide better grip, larger 19” alloy wheels benefit from variant-specific tyres.

There aren’t any performance improvements, though. Consequently, customers will get to choose between the familiar 1.8 litre and 2.0 litre petrol-hybrid powertrains, which produce 120 bhp (90 kW / 122 PS) and 182 bhp (135 kW / 184 PS) respectively. Both options come with a continuously-variable transmission.
