An all-new Lada Niva is coming in 2024
As part of Groupe Renault’s just-announced ‘Renaulution’ strategic plan, Dacia and Lada are forming a single business unit. The intention is that every model offered by the two brands will eventually be based on the CMF-B platform (the flexible architecture which already underpins various vehicles such as the 2021 Dacia Sandero).
Consequently, a completely new Niva with two body styles is set to join the Lada range in 2024. While helping to maintain market leadership in Russia is going to be its core objective, there’s also an expectation of decent export sales.
Three other Lada product launches are due to happen before 2025 as well. Among them is a C-segment SUV that’s expected to be larger and more expensive than the Niva.
