Yamaha introduces the TMAX 20th Anniversary
To help celebrate two decades of the TMAX scooter, Yamaha has created the new 20th Anniversary limited edition.
A special paint colour called Tech Graphite is complemented by a bronze finish for the wheels, and exclusive yellow stitching on the heated seat. Furthermore, the heat shield, front mudguard and body-side ‘boomerangs’ are all carbon fibre.
As per a regular TMAX, the standard specification also includes an electrically-adjustable windscreen, heated handlebar grips, cruise control and Smart Key functionality.
Power comes from the familiar 562 cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine, which delivers up to 47.5 PS (46.9 bhp / 35.0 kW) plus 55.7 Nm (41.0 lb-ft) of torque via a continuously-variable automatic transmission.
Yamaha intends to build 560 examples of the TMAX 20th Anniversary. In the UK, on-the-road prices start at £14,699 (a substantial premium of £2,700 versus the usual TMAX cost).
