Honda N-ONE sales begin

The diminutive Honda N-ONE has gone on sale in Japan. The latest addition to the N Series range of mini-vehicles, its cabin is reckoned to be large enough to accommodate four adults despite the compact exterior dimensions.

With styling inspired by the N360 model of 1967, the five-door hatchback comes powered by a suitably small 660 cc, three-cylinder petrol engine. It’s connected to a continuously variable transmission, with buyers having a choice of either front- or all-wheel drive. The most economical versions can manage 76.2 mpg (3.7 l/100km / 27.0 km/l), according to the Japanese JC08 cycle.
