2014 Suzuki Let’s scooter revealed

As well as the Gixxer motorcycle, Suzuki India has also just unveiled its new Let’s scooter.

Aimed at younger riders, the Let’s is a step-through model that’s powered by a 112 cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke, air-cooled engine. With 8.7 bhp (6.5 kW / 8.8 PS) and 9.0 Nm (6.6 lb/ft) of torque, Suzuki reckons it’ll achieve a class-leading 177.9 mpg (1.6 l/100km / 63 km/l).

The standard specification includes a continuously variable transmission, drum brakes for both wheels and electric- and kick-starters. A kerb weight of 98 kg (216 lbs) plus a low 765 mm (30.1”) seat height should mean the Let’s is easy to handle, while ground clearance is 160 mm (6.3”).
