Porsche 911 Turbo S Exclusive GB Edition
Porsche’s British operation has collaborated with Porsche Exclusive to produce the 911 Turbo S Exclusive GB Edition. Commemorating 40 years since the original 911 Turbo was launched, it features numerous cosmetic changes.
On the outside, a black finish for the 20” Sport Classic alloys, door mirror caps, rear upper spoiler and door handles is complemented by a ‘Porsche’ script between the wheels. Paintwork choice meanwhile is being restricted to red, white or metallic silver.
Black leather upholstery adorns the interior, with contrast provided by red stitching and seatbelts. Other special touches include a Union Flag embossed on the storage compartment lid, some unique illuminated carbon fibre doorsill kick plates and a set of bespoke floor mats.
All of that sounds lovely, but there is a slight problem. At £150,237, the Exclusive GB Edition is £8,117 more expensive than a regular 911 Turbo S.
And don’t expect any technical upgrades for the not inconsiderable premium. Power still comes from a 552 bhp (412 kW / 560 PS) 3.8 litre twin-turbo engine which delivers its output to all four wheels via a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission.
Despite its name, the 911 Turbo S Exclusive GB Edition is available across the whole of the UK. Production is going to be limited to 40 units and dealers are accepting orders now.
