Seat Ibiza 30th Anniversary Limited Edition

To mark the thirtieth birthday this year of its Ibiza supermini, Seat has created the aptly-named 30th Anniversary Limited Edition.

This commemorative model is based on the existing Style trim grade. Offered in three-door SC guise only, distinguishing features include xenon headlights, LED rear light clusters and a black finish for its 17” alloy wheels, front grille and door mirror caps.

Paintwork choice comprises Balea Beige, Technic Grey or Emocion Red and there are special badges on the B pillars and rear window.

Among the interior enhancements are Alcantara upholstery, unique floor mats and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Also fitted is the Seat Portable System which incorporates a media player, Bluetooth connectivity and satellite navigation. Completing the upgrades are a bespoke key cover and, for the first time ever in an Ibiza, a reversing camera.

The Ibiza 30th Anniversary Limited Edition can be ordered in Spain now, but UK availability has yet to be confirmed.

Although its capacity is only 875 cc, a turbocharger and the MultiAir electro-hydraulic valve control system mean it produces a respectable 83 bhp (62 kW / 85 PS) and 145 Nm (103 lb/ft) of torque. Honda WSB team launch

Honda has unveiled its works team for the 2011 World Superbike championship . The announcement of Castrol as title sponsor means the return to a very familiar colour scheme for the pair of CBR1000RR Fireblade bikes, which will be ridden by Jonathan Rea and Ruben Xaus. As in recent years, Honda has entrusted Dutch concern Ten Kate Racing with running the factory WSB team. First thing on the Castrol Honda agenda is a two day testing session at the Motorland Aragón circuit in Spain later this week. The 2011 WSB season comprises thirteen rounds with Phillip Island, Australia hosting the opening race on 27 February.
