More options for the Seat Leon Cupra 280

Seat has announced the arrival of some performance-orientated options for its Leon Cupra 280.

The first is the £2,025 Sub8 Performance Pack, a name that signifies that a Leon Cupra 280 was the first front-wheel drive car to set a lap time of less than eight minutes around the Nürburgring Nordschleife. Included are larger brake discs with four-piston Brembo calipers, body-colour side skirts and unique 19” alloy wheels that come in either black or a fetching orange shade.

For an extra £460, Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres can be specified. Because they’re semi-slicks, Seat reckons track day enthusiasts will be particularly tempted by them. That same audience might appreciate a set of more supportive Cupra bucket seats. Replacing the standard front seats, they feature integrated head restraints, built-in heating and Alcantara upholstery. The cost is £1,250.

Finally there are the £500 Black-Line and White-Line exterior colour packs. These give either a black or white finish to the door mirror caps, front grille surround, ‘Cupra’ tailgate lettering and wheels.
